Nutrition plays a crucial role in performance for ALL swimmers! Properly fueling an athlete's body ensures they receive the energy, nutrients, and hydration necessary for effective training, performance enhancement, and optimal recovery. These factors heavily influence each swimmer's overall health and their ability to perform their best in the pool! As coaches, we recognize our responsibility to educate and support our swimmers in making the best nutritional choices available to them on a daily basis. As a team, we will discuss how to eat well to fuel performance in the pool and will work to provide adequate resources to each swimmer to help them meet their nutritional and performance goals!
